Welcome to the Maverick Family! University Housing is committed to working closely with parents and family members to provide information and resources to assist you and your student in making your housing choices as well as collaborate with you to help students be successful in their college career. There are a number of offices and partners on campus committed to connecting students and helping them succeed. We encourage parents to stay involved and work with our University faculty and staff if they should need anything.
There are a number of ways parents can be involved on campus including becoming a member of our Maverick Parent & Family Association. The Maverick Parent & Family Association is a network of parents and families who are committed to their students’ success. Additionally they have a Parent & Family Weekend each year in October and University Housing offers open houses and exciting program opportunities throughout the weekend.

Show your support for your favorite Maverick by sending a Finals Week MavPack that arrives just in time for final exams. Packed with spirit items, school supplies, snacks and study tips, your Maverick will surely feel the love!

KALPANA CHAWLA HALL
Called KC Hall by its residents, Kalpana Chawla Hall is a lively co-educational residential facility that houses 419 students in a variety of educationally themed learning communities. Built in 2004, KC Hall combines a strong commitment to academic excellence with an equally strong devotion to providing a fun and active environment.
