Mission

The mission of the Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness is to conduct research and analysis in order to provide information that supports institutional planning, assessment, policy analysis, and decision making, and to facilitate institutional effectiveness that advances the mission of the University.

Goals of the office of IRPE are consistent with this mission, and include:  1) Collect, disseminate, and promote the use of accurate and accessible institutional data in a professional and ethical manner; 2) Coordinate a broad based, comprehensive, program of institutional planning; 3) Coordinate and support a systematic program of institutional evaluation and assessment, and facilitate the incorporation of the findings into the planning and accreditation processes; 4) Fulfill institutional reporting obligations to regulatory agencies and other external entities; 5) Maximize the efficacy and efficiency of IRPE processes through responsible use of allocated resources, and use of the latest technologies.
