B.A. in Linguistics

B.A. Linguistics Overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics includes a service-learning requirement, an enhanced language requirement (three years of instruction in a single language, which could be a modern, classical, indigenous, or sign language), and sufficient elective spots to allow students to use those electives to simultaneously earn a bachelor's in linguistics and an undergraduate certificate in TESOL or a concentration in pre-speech pathology if desired. Our internship classes will cap off these elective concentrations.

You can contact us at undergrad.ling.advisor@uta.edu for more information about admissions.
