The role of outside support for university programs has increased dramatically over the last several years. Whether it is for the funding of degree programs, study-abroad opportunities, foreign research travel, or language immersion programs for students your contributions make a vital difference in the goals of UTA’s best and brightest. We hope that you, as a friend of the McDowell Center’s mission, as an alum of the Russian studies program, or as a “fellow-traveler” on one of the many trips led by Drs. McDowell, Cichock, Harrison, or Baeva will hear the call to assist our students today in experiencing and achieving what you already have.
Consider making a gift today to one of the Center’s programs. Your contribution may be directed toward a specific intention such as the study-abroad scholarship. This program assists students in paying for their travel and educational expenses in other countries as part of their degree plans. Or you may choose to contribute to an academic scholarship that recognizes excellence in critical languages and area studies. Every gift-size is important to us. Gifts of $25,000 or more qualify for the Maverick Matching program which doubles the value of the contribution. For further information on our programs and how you may help please contact either Center Director Mark Cichock at Cichock@uta.edu or by phone at 817-272-2388; or the College of Liberal Arts Director of Development Myke Holt at mholt@uta.edu or by phone at 817-272-1055.
It is through the generosity of you, our friends, colleagues, and former students that the current and future generations of students will be able to follow the paths you have already tread. This is your opportunity to make a real difference in what the McDowell Center can and should be. Thank you for your support!
