Mediation Services are provided to aid students in reconciling interpersonal disputes with other University of Texas at Arlington students. This may come in the form of roommate conflicts, arguments with friends, boyfriends or girlfriends, and/or students you interact with in your campus organization. Mediation often allows students to handle a conflict before it escalates and becomes a student conduct violation.
Mediation Services is open to all students and can certainly help throughout the process of resolving any type of dispute. You are encouraged to engage Mediation Services with questions and comments or to begin the process of mediation.
Faculty and staff that are credentialed as mediators
in the state of Texas can assist students in negotiating an arrangement that is
agreeable to everyone involved in the dispute.
Please contact the Office of Community Standards if you need assistance beyond this website. Mediation Services can be contacted via phone (817) 272-3108, email firstname.lastname@example.org or by visiting the office within the E.H. Hereford University Center on the Lower Level - Suite B170.
