Technology Management

The Office of Technology Management (OTM), located within the Office of Research Administration, was established to enhance and expand the research and intellectual property capacity and capabilities of the faculty, staff, and students at UT Arlington. 

Mission

The mission of Technology Management is to be a gateway between University technologies and industry partners, increasing the quality, quantity, and effectiveness of UT Arlington research in order to properly steward the resources and properties allocated to the faculty, staff, and students of the University by the State of Texas, ultimately making University technologies available for the benefit of humankind. 

Vision

The vision of Technology Management is to be a center of excellence at UTA, driving its establishment as a Tier I institution and a recognized destination for research, innovation and industry partnering by exhancing and expanding its research and intellectual property capabilities.
