As a part of The Relationship Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention mission…
We are committed to creating and maintaining an environment in which all members of the University Community can persevere academically, personally and professionally in an equitable and safe manner, devoid of sexual and relationship violence. These goals are achieved through education and awareness of sexual and relationship violence, implementing programs and services that meet the diverse educational, personal, and safety needs of students on campus, and constructing a program whose foundation is based upon support and advocacy for students impacted by sexual and/or relationship violence. It is the hope of the RVSP Program that students will feel empowered to disclose incidents of sexual and relationship violence and to seek assistance through the healing process.
Assistance in Education and Outreach Efforts
*The RVSP Program will provide education and outreach efforts to the campus at large. This involves collaborations with campus groups, publishing brochures and establishing support materials for victims of sexual assault and their supporters, as well as education and prevention efforts to reduce the occurrence of sexual assaults on UTA.
* If you are a student, faculty or staff member at UTA in need of a program, resources or information for your class or organization please do not hesitate to contact the RVSP Coordinator at 817-272-2354 for ideas, support, and resources.
