Meet the Richards Family

Student: Tara Richards - Graduating Senior, History Major
Being a part of the Maverick Parent and Family Association and Parent and Family Center has been so important to our family over the last several years. It has given us the opportunity as parents to be involved in our daughter’s college years while still giving her the freedom every college student needs. Beginning with her freshman year the staff at the Parent and Family Center has treated our daughter as one of their own, being there to provide materials, encouragement, support, and love whenever needed. Now as she prepares to graduate, we are excited yet sad to be leaving this chapter behind, as we will miss our extended family at the PFC. Words alone cannot express our love and gratitude to Casey Gonzales, Tasha Talton, and the rest of the PFC staff for the difference they have made in the lives of our family. Because of their kindness we will forever feel a part of the UTA Family. Of course, no matter where life takes us in the future we will still always remember to “MAV UP”!
