From the director

Fellow Alumni:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your loyal support of your alma mater. Your presence in the lives of our current and future students is making a difference for future generations of UTA alumni.

When I think of my days at UTA, I see the faces of the people who made my university experience so exceptional. I remember the friends, the faculty, and many others I got to know as a College of Business student, while working in the University Center and while working with the UTA Student Foundation. Those were good years. And the education I received at UTA provided a strong foundation for my career.

As a recent graduate put it, UTA is a tapestry of people, a rich fabric made up of the students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends who make our University the best it can be. The UTA name is well known: It stands for excellence.

I hope you will join me in supporting our University. If you have been an annual member of the Alumni Association, consider joining at the Lifetime Member level. Please take a look at the membership form online. If you have not supported UTA and the Alumni Association in the past, please think seriously about doing so.

Each of you has an opportunity in your daily life to talk with co-workers and friends about your experiences at this truly great university. I encourage you to continue to share your experiences and to consider becoming more involved in the many activities UTA and the Alumni Association have to offer. Please check out our existing chapter listing and contact the group in your area.

No truly great university can rise above the collective strength, commitment and generosity of its alumni. We are counting on your support and presence this year to increase student programming, increase scholarships for outstanding UTA students, and enhance communication with our alumni.

These are exciting times for UTA. Thank you for being an integral part of our past, present and especially future.
