Dear students,

As part of its commitment to the safety and well-being of the Maverick family, The University of Texas at Arlington has assembled a number of protocols and best practices to guide the campus as we return for the fall semester. 

To increase awareness and foster adoption of these protocols, UTA has established a return-to-campus training to engage all faculty, staff and students with the standards that protect the classroom and reduce the spread of COVID-19 on UTA’s campus.

All students registered for fall 2020 should complete the Fall 2020 COVID-19 Student Training in Canvas by Sept. 11. It is advised that all students engage with the training, regardless of whether or not their fall courses are on campus. The course takes no more than 15 minutes to complete.

To enroll in the course: 

  1. Go to
  2. Select “Enroll” 
  3. When prompted to enter your information, select the “Already Have an Account” sign-in option
  4. Sign in using your UTA email and enroll
