Dear UTA students, faculty, and staff,

As President Cowley shared in her first-day message last week, we have identified our final candidates in the national search for UTA’s next Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Each candidate, as part of their campus visit, will host a virtual forum to share their vision for this position and the future of UTA. These forums are open to all faculty, staff, and students as an opportunity to engage with the finalists and provide feedback that will inform the final steps of this process.

Details on the campus forums are below; you can join using the Microsoft Teams Live links provided. The hour-long forums will begin with a presentation from the candidate, followed by an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and offer comments.

Information on each candidate will be posted to the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs search webpage at least 24 hours before their campus forum.

Surveys to provide feedback on each candidate and their forum will be posted to the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs search webpage the morning of each forum and remain available for one day after.

We hope you will be able to join us to hear from and engage with our esteemed finalists as we take the next step in filling this vital senior leadership position.

Sincerely,

James P. Grover, Ph.D.
Chair of the Provost and Senior VP for Academic Affairs Search Committee
Dean, Graduate School
Interim Vice President for Research
