Beware of malware delivered by email

Several individuals at UTA have reported receiving email messages containing attached .zip files that contains hidden malware, or malicious software. While the Office of Information Technology continues to determine the nature of the malware, all emails received that contain a .zip file will be quarantined until further notice. This action is to mitigate further receipt of the malware. OIT is in the process of removing malicious email from inboxes, but the email will remain in your inbox until deleted. Please do not open the attachments of any messages that appear suspicious. LEARN MORE.


Maverick Speakers Series tickets available

  Maverick Speakers Series-Reza Aslan  

Preferred seating, VIP packages, and season tickets are available for the Maverick Speakers Series. Author and religious scholar Reza Aslan kicks off the 2016-17 series at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Texas Hall. The lecture is free for faculty, staff, and students and costs $5 for non-UTA visitors. LEARN MORE.


Register your vehicle for new parking permits

General parking permits and reserved space permit renewals are available now for faculty and staff, including the Maverick Parking Garage. To purchase a parking permit, visit uta.edu/pats and click on Obtain a Permit under the big blue P.
