All classes are free January 13 - January 20.
  • Classes marked FREE are free to all MAC members. 
  • Participants must have activated ID and will only be granted access to class up to 5 minutes after posted class time.
  • Participation is limited to space and equipment availability.
  • Classes with low attendance may be removed from the schedule.
  • All classes must have a minimum of two participants.

DESCRIPTIONS

All About Arms- A 30 minute class to help you get the sculpted arms and shoulders you've always wanted in this tank- top ready workout.  

All About Legs- A 30 minute class to help strengthen and tone the lower half. Get ready to burn some calories!

Advanced Yoga- The Hatha yoga method is a great place to start since it teaches postures, conscious breathing and relaxation techniques for a full-body workout. Challenge your endurance with this class that will go for 90 minutes, recommended for intermediate to advanced levels.

A.M. Jolt - Skip the caffeine and jump start your day and your metabolism! This class will combine your favorite fitness formats into 50 minutes of cardio, strength, and Pilates fun. Rise, shine, and sweat while your friends are still sleeping! 

Boot Camp– Looking for a class that is packed with fun and energizing exercises?  Whether you are a beginner or just tired of the same routine, this sports conditioning class will have you feeling like an athlete in no time.  It will focus on speed, agility, plyometrics and strength while adding in elements such as balance and flexibility.

Crunch Time - A 15-minute session focusing on strengthening and stretching the entire core, this includes not only your abdominal muscles, but your back muscles as well. This class is highly recommended to increase core stability and strength.

Cycle - Go for a spin! This ride is for everyone. Try this class of high intensity, low impact cardio training in your target heart rate zone. Towel and water required.

Cycle & Sculpt – This class is designed to get your heart pumping and your muscles working. Get the best of both worlds: a cycle class for cardio training and resistance training for the strength segment.

Hip Hop Cardio & Tone- Dance your way into fitness, burning and toning!  You’ll be having so much fun, you won’t want to stop. The class is open to all levels and requires no prior dance experience.

Pilates - The Pilates Method is a full-body conditioning program that develops deep abdominal and back strength, together with increased flexibility and ease of movement.  This class is aimed at “core stability”, designed to work on lengthening muscles to help tone and strengthen muscles, using breathing to enhance relaxation.

Power Yoga- Cultivate awareness of breath, while putting you through physically and mentally challenging postures to increase stamina, range of motion, strength and flexibility. This class is open to all levels. Modifications/ intensifications will be offered for new and advanced students

Total Body Pump - It’s time for the next level of training. Your muscular strength and endurance will be tested during the class as you combine strength training with cardiovascular movement. A total body workout that is challenging yet rewarding. Great for all levels of fitness!

TurboKick- A combination of intense kickboxing moves as well as dances moves all perfectly choreographed to high energy and motivating music. The ultimate cardiovascular challenge that’s a unique blend of intense intervals, strength, endurance training and a relaxing cool down. Turbo Kick requires no previous kick boxing experience or equipment.

Water Fitness - Exercise with a splash!  This aerobics class is designed especially for those wanting to improve their health, mobility and body composition.  This low intensity format uses water to increase flexibility, strength, endurance and cardio fitness without the impact of land aerobics.

Yoga - The Hatha yoga method is a great place to start since it teaches postures, conscious breathing and relaxation techniques for a full-body workout.  Learning the basic points of alignment for each pose is the focus of this class. 

Yoga Basics- This class will serve as an introduction to the basic poses in a Hatha Yoga class, with an emphasis on alignment, adjustments and modifications. Breathing exercises will also be introduced. This class is specifically designed for students new to yoga.

Zumba®- Get ready to party yourself into shape! This exhilarating, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party™ will move YOU!

The first week of classes each semester is FREE!  Schedule and enroll at the Services and Information Desk of the MAC.  Various scheduled classes may be designated as free each semester.

Due to risk management, children under the age of 18 may not use the cardio equipment, weight equipment, indoor track or participate in group exercise classes.
