MAC Memberships

All fee-paying students are automatically members and are eligible to participate in all Campus Recreation programs and services. Membership entitles you to enter the MAC and swimming pools and provides the ability to purchase services in programs such as Intramural Sports, group exercise classes, massage therapy, personal training, nutrition consultations, fitness assessments, Sport Clubs and guest passes. A MAV Express ID or a membership card will be required when making a purchase.

SUMMER AND BREAK OPTIONS FOR CONTINUING STUDENTS

Individuals enrolled a semester prior (excluding those that graduated) may have access to the MAC for a fee listed below.

Fall, Spring, Summer $75

Summer I or Summer II $40

Individuals enrolled in an upcoming semester (with MAV ID and upcoming semester schedule) may have access for a fee listed below.

All faculty and staff must purchase a membership to use facilities and programs managed by the Department of Campus Recreation. Membership entitles you to enter the MAC, swimming pools and participate in programs such as Intramural Sports, group exercise classes, massage therapy, personal training and Sport Clubs.

To receive a Campus Recreation membership you should come by the Services & Information Desk during office hours.

Faculty/Staff, Retirees and Visiting Scholars: $25 per month (payroll deduction available)

Refund Policy:

You must fill out a refund request in person at the MAC Services and Information Desk. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Monthly memberships are not eligible for refund if the customer accessed the facility at least once during the service period being requested.

$35 per month for UTA graduates. Purchase your first membership the MAC Services and Information Desk and set up your Reclink account. Subsequent membership can then be purchased through our online member portal.

One day guest passes into the MAC, Campus Recreation Fields Complex, and the Outdoor Pool (during open swim hours) may be purchased by any member (limit 2 guests per visit). The MAC member who is sponsoring the guest must be present at the desk at the time of purchase or at check in if purchased online. Guest(s) must enter and remain with the member and be 18 years of age or older (must have a valid picture ID with birth date).

$10 per visit

Current members may sponsor a monthly membership for a household adult and dependent children over the age of 18. A Household Adult membership entitles you to all privileges. The sponsor must be present at the time of purchase and provide documentation of a common residence. *

Children under the age of 18 may enter the Maverick Activities Center for free accompanied, and under direct supervision at all times, by a parent or guardian. Due to risk management, children under the age of 18 may not use the cardio equipment, weight equipment, indoor track, climbing wall, or participate in group exercise classes.

* On September 1 of every year, Household Adult Eligibility will be removed for everyone. After September 1, all Household Adult members will be required to renew their eligibility at the MAC Services and Information Desk with their sponsor present and documentation showing common residency.

Proof of common residency includes:

  • Dependent children over the age of 18 who currently reside with the affiliated member.
  • Proof of financial ties can include marriage license drivers license car, homeowners, or other type of insurance both names on checking/banking account. 

Alumni, Household Adult, Vendor/Contractor, Housing Guest, Other Affiliates = $35 per month
