shoes for vets

Shoes for Vets donation

UTA friend and radio/TV personality Rock T and LA Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp donated 100 pairs of athletic shoes to UTA's Veterans Services program. Rock T studied and played baseball at UTA before his broadcast career and has been a frequent speaker on campus. The shoes will be distributed to student veterans, homeless vets, and a local Veterans of Foreign Wars chapter. The donation was coordinated by Troy Johnson, vice president for enrollment services, and Michele Bobadilla, assistant provost for Hispanic student success and senior associate vice president for outreach services and community engagement.
