Top nursing office

Tamara Eades, a clinical assistant professor of nursing, is president-elect of the board of directors of the Texas Nurses Association. She will begin her term as president in 2020. Read more.

ServiceNow update

On early Sunday, March 3, the Office of Information Technology will update the ServiceNow system. While there should be no noticeable downtime, the update will cause some changes to the user experience.

Naturallly Slim

Annual weight-loss program returns

Naturally Slim—a UT System benefit—is back, with registration starting Monday, March 4. The weight-loss and fitness program is free to members of the UT Select and UT Connect medical plans, including spouses, dependents, and retirees. The program starts April 1. Read more.

Complimentary on-site assessments of injuries are available at the 12th Annual Celebrating Maverick Spirit Benefits Fair on Wednesday, March 13. Register online for the free assessment.

Planetarium tickets online

The UTA Planetarium now offers online ticket sales. Tickets for shows can be purchased up to seven days in advance. Look for the gift shop to be online soon. See the schedule, including Spring Break shows.
