There's still time to claim free tickets to see Anna Deavere Smith present "Engaging the World: The Role of the Artist in Society" for the Maverick Speakers Series on Tuesday, March 26, in Texas Hall.

The actress, author, and artist is best known for crafting more than 15 one-woman shows based on hundreds of conversations and characters. A recipient of the National Humanities Medal, she was a runner-up for the Pulitzer Prize for her play Fires in the Mirror.
