History professor named Carnegie Fellow

John Garrigus, professor of history, has been named to the 2019 class of the prestigious Andrew Carnegie Fellows Program. He is the first from UTA to receive the honor and the only fellow selected from a Texas university this year. Read more.

Detour on Cooper

Look for a detour on northbound Cooper Street at Mitchell Street on Thursday-Friday, April 25-26. Drivers going from Mitchell onto northbound Cooper will be affected. Signage is going up on the Science & Engineering Innovation & Research building.

Metro Golf Tourney

Register to play in the annual Metro Golf Tournament for facuty, staff, alumni, and friends of North Texas colleges and universities. Register by Monday, April 29. The shotgun start is 8 a.m. Monday, May 13, at The Golf Club at Fossil Creek.
