Symposium on Friday

The first faculty and staff symposium for 2019-20 is set for 3-5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in the Nueces Room of The Commons. The topic is "Enhancing Experiential Learning through the Maverick Advantage." Register online.

Faculty and Associates Meeting

Faculty are encouraged to celebrate emeriti faculty and the Regents Outstanding Teaching Award winners at the Fall Faculty and Associates Meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, in the Rio Grande Ballroom.

National Night Out

Visit with historically underutilized business (HUB) vendors and other contracted suppliers while playing HUB-opoly at the Procurement and Payment Services Vendor Fair 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, in the Bluebonnet Ballroom of the University Center.

Oozeball in the news

More than 500 UTA students, alumni ,and community members participated in the Oozeball mud volleyball tournament. The event raised money for UTA’s Emergency Assistance Fund. See the Star-Telegram video.

Pie Five returns to College Park

Pie Five opens its doors again at College Park Center today, Monday, Sept. 30. The eatery is at 501 Spaniolo Drive, and hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. daily.
