UTA, TAMU law school to offer dual degree
|
|
UTA and the Texas A&M University School of Law are starting two dual-degree programs that will allow students to earn a master’s degree in either business administration or taxation and a J.D. degree in law, concurrently, from each institution.

With freezing weather predicted for Friday, the UT System Day celebration will move to the Carlisle Suite in the University Center. The fun is 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, and includes food and prizes.

Samantha Power next for Maverick Speakers Series

The youngest U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power will speak on "The State of the World: Challenges and Opportunities" for the Maverick Speakers Series. Her lecture is set for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Texas Hall.
