Trinity House demolition

Trinity House demolition

Trinity House will be coming down starting Monday, Dec. 2. Originally, the 1963 residence hall was to be renovated, but will now be replaced with a new structure for academic and support offices.

Demolition will affect parking and traffic by the building.

  • Monday-Tuesday, Dec. 2-3—Two-way traffic near Trinity on West Nedderman Drive will be open but reduced. The sidewalk on the east side of Trinity will be closed.
  • Friday-Sunday, Dec. 6-8—The Trinity West parking lot will be closed.
  • Monday, Dec. 16—The Trinity West lot and the north section of the Trinity South lot will be closed indefinitely.
  • Monday, Jan. 20—Demolition expected to be complete.

UTA closed for holiday

UTA will be closed Thursday-Friday, Nov. 28-29, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Check the UTA Libraries and Maverick Activities Center websites for their hours this week.

Holiday clay sale

Find one-of-a-kind ceramic artworks made by students at the Holiday clay sale 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Wednesday, Dec. 3-4, at the Studio Arts Center.

Brazos Park fun

Mark your calendars for the Holiday Celebration 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, at Brazos Park. Faculty, staff, and students can enjoy live music, hot chocolate, desserts, and holiday lights.

Glass students and faculty offer functional and artistic works at the first holiday glass sale 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Studio Arts Center.

Thanksgiving dinner with the President

Thanksgiving dinner

Join fellow Mavericks for a Thanksgiving dinner 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the Connection Café in the University Center.

This dinner is free for students with a meal plan. Tickets are required for non-meal plan holders and cost $5 for students and $8 for faculty, staff, and community members.
