Engineering celebrates 60th anniversary

Since its founding in 1959, UTA’s College of Engineering has been home to thousands of engineering students who have made their marks on the world.

More than 34,000 students have earned engineering degrees at UTA. With enrollment rapidly growing, new programs being added, and record-breaking research funding rolling in, the college is poised to become an education and research powerhouse as it enters its next decade.

Check service awards list

Faculty and staff members reaching milestones of 10 years or more of service should review the 2020 service awards list for accuracy. Email any changes, additions, or deletions to hrspecialprojects@uta.edu by Friday, Feb. 28.

Healthy Minds survey

Encourage students to complete the Healthy Minds survey, which was sent via email to 10,000 randomly selected students by Counseling and Psychological Services.

Don't fall for it

Be wary of anyone wanting to give you a check and then asking you to return cash, says UTA's Police Department. For information on fake checks and other scams, visit the Federal Trade Commission and the UTA Police websites.
