The University is taking the following additional steps to maximize social distancing:

• Online courses: Beginning Monday, March 23, through the end of the spring semester, all courses will be online only. Students will receive details about how to access and complete their courses.
• Telecommuting: Find strategies and resources for working online at oit.uta.edu/utaremote.
• Canceled: All campus tours, events, activities, and student organization-sponsored campus events are canceled through the end of the semester.
• Postponed: Spring commencement ceremonies will be rescheduled.
• Updates: uta.edu/coronavirus.

The in-person Campus Preparedness teaching seminars have been canceled. Sessions are:

• Campus Preparedness for Teaching Online, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, with two sessions and a question-and-answer period, using Echo 360.
• Canvas Online Course Delivery Training, Wednesday, March 18, using Zoom. Join online for the 9 a.m. or the 1 p.m. session.
• College/School/Department Group Consultations, see schedule, with special sessions for studio and laboratory courses, using Microsoft Teams.

These programs are offered through the Center for Research on Teaching and Learning Excellence, the Center for Distance Education, and the Office of the Provost.

Living in campus residence halls and participating in campus dining programs will be limited to students who do not have a suitable alternative. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis to serve students who require this accommodation while observing social distancing practices.

Information on move-out procedures will be distributed by UTA Housing directly to residents.
