Lim offers message of support

In a letter to the campus today, Provost Teik Lim wrote, "I want to take this opportunity to reassure our students, faculty, and staff that your health, safety, and wellbeing are our priority. Our focus is to support our students and successfully transition to a fully online course delivery system the rest of spring semester, while ensuring the highest quality academic experience."

Donate to UTA's Food Pantry

Food Pantry needs you

After serving 200 UTA community members last week, the UTA Food Pantry needs to be filled again. To donate nonperishable foods, send an email to tri.c.cyndi@gmail.com. Then bring your donation to Tri-C Ministries at 405 W. 1st St., drop it off at the parking lot door, and then send a text to the number listed on the door. The staff will pick up the donation.

Disrupt the stigma; don't participate

The University of Texas at Arlington has no tolerance for discrimination and harassment. UTA strives for all of our community members to feel welcome. Join together and fight the stigma by doing the following:

  • Share only reputable news sources such as the Centers for Disease Control or UTA’s website uta.edu/coronavirus.
  • Show compassion; we are all being impacted.
  • Speak up against false information or harassment. If harassment continues, contact the Dean of Students at dos@uta.edu.

UTA Bookstore and Starbucks

UTA Bookstore offers curbside delivery. Employees will be in the store to answer phones and customers' questions. Follett is offering free shipping to online customers.

Starbucks at the UTA Bookstore offers carry-out only 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
