UTA continues online-only instruction for Maymester and summer terms

To ensure the health and safety of UTA students, faculty, and staff, the University will continue all instruction in an online format through Maymester and the summer terms. There will be no in-person instruction during this time.

Priority registration opens Monday, April 6. Students can learn more at uta.edu/students/registration.

Custodial, housekeeping staffs busy deep cleaning campus

UTA's custodial and housekeeping staffs are deep cleaning campus buildings, said Don Lange, interim assistant vice president for facilities and campus operations.

Custodial crews continue to clean and sanitize campus academic facilities and buildings that are open for research and computer labs. The team has been able to focus on deep cleaning and floor work in classrooms and common student engagement spaces.

Housekeeping employees continue to clean residence halls since there are about 200 students still living on campus. The housekeepers also are cleaning vacant residence hall rooms and apartments.

'A Semi-Serious Recital'

Laura Bennett Cameron, assistant professor of bassoon and chamber music, will livestream A Semi-Serious Recital at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 4.

Paycheck pickup; consider direct deposit

Payroll Services will be open for check pickup 8 a.m.-1 p.m. today, Friday, April 3; Monday, April 6; and Wednesday, April 8, in the J.D. Wetsel Building, 1225 W. Mitchell St.

To expedite your receipt of payroll and avoid unnecessary physical contact, please consider direct deposit to your bank or savings account. Read the instructions for direct deposit enrollment. Please email payroll@uta.edu if you have any questions.
