UTA policy on Pass/Fail and drop date

The University has made changes to the Pass/Fail Policy and extended the drop date for the spring semester. Among the new policies are:

  • The drop date has been extended to Tuesday, April 28, for all courses.
  • Students who choose a course to be graded Pass/Fail have until Tuesday, April 28, to make that election.
  • The decision on which classes are eligible for the Pass/Fail option will be made by each college/school’s curriculum committee.

Read more details about the Pass/Fail Policy.

If you have questions, please refer to the Pass/Fail FAQs or email viceprovost@uta.edu.

The funds, totaling nearly $31,000, come from UTA CARES, or UTA Coalition for Alternative Resources in Education for Students. OER include textbooks, videos, quizzes, and worksheets, as well as learning modules, lesson plans, syllabi, data, and more.
