The Environmental Health and Safety Office reminds everyone to practice safety. Don’t learn it by accident.

Employees providing essential services to the campus community have been especially stretched thin, working longer hours than usual and more shifts, leaving less time to sleep and recharge.

Fatigue can increase the risk for injury. Know what to do if you feel too tired to work safely. Read more about managing workplace fatigue.

Mentis update Sept. 2

Mentis will be unavailable 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, for an update to the log in page. Faculty and students will be required to log in with their UTA email addresses and passwords.

UTA Food Pantry

The UTA/Tri-C Food Pantry is in need of shelf-stable milk, condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo), canned fruit, cereal, canned tuna, ramen, toliet paper, paper towels, deodorant, and feminine pads (not tampons). To donate, call 817-933-6520.

Early voting dates

The Maverick Activities Center will serve as an early voting polling place for the Nov. 3 elections. The poll will be open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13-Friday, Oct. 30.
