Meet Harmony

Harmony is the newest Spirit Horse on campus, with decorations appropriate for its position outside the Health Services Center. The pony's unveiling was at UTA's 125th birthday party today, Wednesday, Oct. 14.

Earth-friendly concrete

Warda Ashraf, assistant professor of civil engineering, will use a National Science Foundation grant to develop new concrete materials that last longer and are more environmentally friendly.

Donate to SECC by Thursday

There's still time to donate to one or more charities and help UTA reach its goal of $30,000 for the State Employee Charitable Campaign. Donate by Thursday, Oct. 15.

Suicide prevention workshop

Learn about the warning signs, clues, and communications of people who may be considering suicide and how to intervene. Register for the faculty/staff-only workshop 1-3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23.

Early voting at MAC

The Maverick Activities Center serves as an early voting polling place for the Nov. 3 elections. The poll is open through Friday, Oct. 30. See the schedule.

Home games on ESPN+

UTA's volleyball team will play league matches in two- and three-match series with no fans in attendance. All home games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
