Flu shots available Monday

Make your appointment for a flu shot noon-2:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at the Wetsel Service Center. The vaccine is free with UT Select and UT Connect membership. With no insurance, the shot is $20.

Faculty Senate open forum

The Faculty Senate will hold an open faculty forum noon-2 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 4, to follow up on ideas raised in the State of the University address.

Trinity parking

Trinity parking lot

The Trinity Hall project will need to relocate the Trinity South fencing into the parking lot on Friday, Nov. 6, in order to start preparing the drive lane. Later, contractor parking will move, allowing for more faculty/staff slots.

Students volunteer for election

Sociology graduate student Desiree Alvarez served as an election judge at an east Arlington voting site and personally recruited five fellow sociology students to serve with her as election clerks.

Travel reimbursement changes

The Office of Procurement and Payment Services updated items regarding procedure BF-PGS-PR8: Reimbursements and Payments Other Than for Travel and Purchase Order.

Electrical outage planned for Woolf Hall

The Office of Facilities Management has scheduled an electrical outage for Woolf Hall from 10:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, to no later than 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. Available emergency back-up generators in these buildings will be maintained throughout this outage to power crucial services.

Save any work or data in progress before 10:30 p.m. Friday to prevent possible data loss.
