Virtual Pep Rally 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, on Teams

Mav basketball teams greet fans Thursday

Celebrate the start of Maverick basketball season with the virtual pep rally at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, on Teams. Join the call to meet, hear from, and ask questions of any member of the men’s or women’s teams.

The women's and men's teams play Wednesday, Nov. 25, at College Park Center, which has comprehensive COVID protocols. All seating will be in pods of two, with fans limited to approximately 500.

The Lady Mavericks start the season against Texas A&M Commerce at 11 a.m. at College Park Center. The women's team was picked to finish first in the Sun Belt Conference's west division by head coaches.

The Maverick men's opening against Oklahoma State at 3 p.m. at College Park Center will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Fireworks at Davis Hall

Leave Davis lot by 5:30

Vehicles in parking lot F9 at Davis Hall will need to leave by 5:30 p.m. today, Monday, Nov. 16, to accommodate a video shoot with fireworks. Nedderman Drive will be closed between Greek Row and Cooper during this time period.

The Maverick Activities Center will be an early voting polling place for the Dec. 8 joint run-off elections.

  • Closed Thursday-Friday, Nov. 26-27, Thanksgiving Holiday
  • 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28
  • 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29
  • 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, and Tuesday-Friday, Dec. 1-4
