The Information Security Office reminds faculty and staff that USB drives should not be used for primary storage.
Any University data on temporary media should be moved to approved storage locations as soon as feasible.
If you have an encrypted USB drive that is showing signs of the battery failing, be sure to copy the data to a secure approved location and consider replacing the drive before it fails.
