TEDx UTA

Amid pandemic, EXCEL creates unique, safe ways to get involved, stay engaged

EXCEL Campus Activities—UTA's official student-led programming board—has adapted to the challenges of keeping students engaged during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Virtual events in 2020 included trivia, open mic nights, and comedian-led bingo games. A limited number of in-person events have been offered, including a drive-in movie night and an educational TEDx Talk. Livestreaming for all such events continues to be available for those who want to watch from home, allowing EXCEL to reach UT Arlington students on a wider scale.
