Diversity, inclusion survey

The deadline to complete the UTA Campus Climate Survey on diversity and inclusion has been extended to Friday, May 7. The survey takes about 15 minutes. Skip any question you do not feel comfortable answering. Your response is confidential.

COVID-19 vaccine available

UTA has partnered with Texas Health to provide access to COVID‑19 vaccines for all interested employees and students. The vaccine is free. Read more about how to receive the vaccine.

'UTA Inquiry' magazine

The spring issue of UTA Inquiry magazine looks at preception vs. reality, plant protection, the rapid response to COVID-19 with new ideas and investigations, and much more about research being done at the University.

Zapata to head Texas TRIO

Fidel Zapata, TRIO Upward Bound Math & Science coordinator, is the president-elect for the Texas TRIO Association. UTA hosts 10 TRIO grants, tied for second most in Texas, serving 1,799 underrepresented students annually.

Outstanding Maverick Awards

Nominate employees and teams who exemplify “being a Maverick” in all that they do for the Outstanding Maverick Awards. The deadline to submit the nomination form is Friday, May 21.
