Segregation and heart disease

Yeonwoo Kim, assistant professor of kinesiology, is examining how historic segregation in the United States may contribute to cardiovascular disease among individuals from minority or low-income groups.

Donate to pandemic collection

The UTA Libraries need your help documenting the COVID‑19 pandemic and its impact on the community. Both digital and physical materials are needed for a permanent archival collection.

Kermanshachi honored

Sharareh “Sherri” Kermanshachi, assistant professor of civil engineering, received the Regional Teaching Award from the Associated Schools of Construction. The award recognizes contributions to construction education and excellence in teaching.
