Staff Listening Session Wednesday

Celebrate Independence Day!

UTA is closed for Independence Day on Monday, July 5, so everyone can celebrate our country's birthday.

On Saturday, July 3, Light Up Arlington starts the fireworks at 9:30 p.m. near Globe Life Field.

Look for the UTA floats in the Arlington Fourth of July Parade, which starts at 9 a.m. Monday, July 5, in downtown Arlington.

Deans’ Equity and Inclusion Initiative

UT Arlington has joined eight other leading U.S. schools and colleges of architecture, planning, and design in co-founding the Deans’ Equity and Inclusion Initiative, a partnership to nurture a diverse population of emerging scholars focused on teaching and researching the built environment to advance socioecological and spatial justice, equity, and inclusion.

Patient safety

Yan Xiao, professor of nursing and patient safety expert, and his colleagues developed a unique course so students can gain more experience into how to provide the safest and highest quality of care to patients.

Pediatric nurse ranking

The College of Nursing and Health Innovation’s Pediatric Nurse Practitioner programs have been ranked the second best in the country, according to RegisteredNursing.org.

UTA Police Department logo

UTA PD recognized

UTA Police Department won the Leadership in Community Policing Award from the International Association of Chiefs of Police for the University’s education and outreach efforts via video and learning modules.

Donate to pandemic collection

The UTA Libraries need your help documenting the COVID‑19 pandemic and its impact on the community. Both digital and physical materials are needed for a permanent archival collection.

Staff Conference

The annual Staff Conference is July 13‑15 on Teams. This year's focus is diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Staff Advisory Council sponsors the event.

Food Pantry needs

The UTA/Tri-C Food Pantry needs coffee (instant and ground); juice and other beverages; snacks (cookies, chips, etc.) in individual serving packages; and laundry detergent. Drop off donations 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Friday at 405 W 1st St. For more details, email tri.c.cyndi@gmail.com.
