Academic integrity workshop Thursday

The Office of Community Standards is hosting a virtual workshop on academic integrity and UTA’s Honor Code at noon on Thursday, Feb. 24. The workshop will cover campus trends related to academic integrity and guidance on referring students for cheating, plagiarism, and collusion. Join the workshop in Teams, and contact conduct@uta.edu with questions.

COVID-19 answers

Two UTA health experts join a panel discussion on COVID‑19 Year 3: Variants, Vaccines, and Your Questions Answered at noon Tuesday, Feb. 22. Register for access to the conversation.

EPA award for leadership

UTA won the 2021 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Food Recovery Challenge National Award for Leadership. The University also won the award in 2014 and 2018.

Add research to courses

Early voting at MAC

The early voting at the Maverick Activities Center is closed today, Monday, Feb. 21, for Presidents' Day. Vote in the March 1 primary elections 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, Feb. 22-25.

COVID-19 vaccines, boosters on campus

UTA has scheduled additional on-campus clinics to offer the COVID‑19 vaccines and booster, free of cost, to UTA students, employees, and their families and dependents. The next is Wednesday, March 2.

At UTA’s on-campus clinics, operated in partnership with Walmart, individuals 12 and older can receive first and second doses of both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Booster doses are available for all eligible individuals.

Each clinic will operate on a walk-in-only basis 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Room 102B in the Maverick Activities Center. Other clinics are on Wednesdays, March 16 and March 30.

Timekeeper duties changing

TCP, UTA’s new timekeeping system, launches April 1. Timekeepers will no longer enter employee time and leave in UTShare. Timekeepers will need access to TCP and timekeeper-specific training.
