UT Arlington to close at 8 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, March 4

The University of Texas at Arlington will close at 8 p.m. tonight, Wednesday, March 4, due to forecasts for freezing rain and sleet and potentially icy road conditions.

The UT Arlington Fort Worth Center, the UT Arlington Research Institute in Fort Worth, and all other UT Arlington facilities also will close at 8 p.m.

The UT Arlington home page, www.uta.edu, will have the latest information on the status of the University. Notices also will be distributed to area media outlets and through the official UT Arlington Facebook and Twitter feeds.

The University's Emergency Information Hotline at 1-866-258-4913 always has the current status of all operations.
