Convocation, Afterparty, Maverick Stampede welcome new semester

Mavericks gather to kick off the fall semester with the MavsMeet Convocation and Afterparty today, Tuesday, Aug. 21. The Convocation begins at 4 p.m. at Texas Hall with radio personality Rock-T as keynote speaker. The Afterparty fun is 5-8 p.m. on the Library mall. Both are part of the Maverick Stampede, UTA's slate of welcome back events.

Sept. 3—Labor Day holiday; no classes
