Climate change next for Maverick Speakers Series

Science historian Naomi Oreskes will discuss "The American Denial of Global Warming" at the next Maverick Speakers Series event. Dr. Oreskes will speak at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at Texas Hall. Join fellow Mavericks for the 2018 Homecoming celebration Nov. 4-11, a week of events filled with the unique spirit that makes UTA one amazing place to be. The traditions are back, including Paint Your Ride with Maverick Pride, the chili cook-off, MavSwap, Maverick Mum Mania, and volleyball and basketball games. MyMav maintenance

MyMav will be unavailable from 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, to 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29. Students, faculty, and staff will not have access to review grades or make payments. Read more.

Campus elections continue

Cast your ballot for Homecoming king and queen, Graduate Student Senate representatives, and UTA Ambassadors until 6 p.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 23, at the Gallery in the University Center.

Early voting next week

UTA is an early voting polling site for Tarrant County in the Nov. 6 general election. Vote 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Thursday, Oct. 29-Nov. 1, at the Maverick Activities Center.

Prescription Drug Take-Back

Turn in your unused or expired prescription medication or unused EpiPen for safe disposal (no needles) 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at the Health Center. Read more.
