Climate is hot topic tonight

Science historian Naomi Oreskes talks about "The American Denial of Global Warming" tonight, Tuesday, Nov. 20, for the Maverick Speakers Series. The event is at 7:30 p.m. in Texas Hall.

The Harvard professor laid to rest the idea that there was significant disagreement in the scientific community about the reality of global warming and its human causes in her essay, "The Scientific Consensus on Climate Change." Read more.

Although there are no classes Wednesday, Nov. 21, the University will be open for business. UTA is closed Thursday-Friday, Nov. 22-23.
