MLK Day

MLK Jr. banquet Friday

Donna Brazile, political strategist, is the keynote speaker for the MLK Jr. Day Celebration banquet Friday, Jan. 18, in the Bluebonnet Ballroom. Tickets are $55. See the schedule for more MLK Day events.

Maverick FRIENDzy

This high-energy, interactive event is the perfect way to make new friends. The fun is Wednesday, Jan. 16, in the Palo Duro Lounge. Read more.

Leadership Institute

Register now for the Leadership Institute, a one-day, on-campus professional conference on practical leadership skills, Saturday, Jan. 26. Open to all UTA students. Read more.

Greek Row closure

Greek Row lane closure

Because of road construction, the westbound lane on Greek Row Drive will be closed from Davis Drive to Summit Avenue. The eastbound lane remains open.

Important Dates

Jan. 15—Priority date for 2019-20 financial aid year. Complete FAFSA application and deliver requested documents.

Jan. 15-17—Late registration for spring semester.

Jan. 21—Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday; UTA closed; no classes.

Host table at Activity Fair

UTA departments, registered student organizations, and community agencies may host an info table at the Activity Fair Day Wednesday, Jan. 23. Register now; space is limited.

Night with Dallas Mavericks

UTA Night with the Dallas Mavericks includes the chance to watch the shootaround courtside before the game. The fun begins at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13. Tickets start at $13.

Volunteer at Job Fair

Helping hands are needed for the Spring All-Majors Job Fair Wednesday, Feb. 27, at the Maverick Activities Center. Register to volunteer by Friday, Feb. 22.
