Animals join Jack Hanna on stage

A cheetah, an armadillo, and a flamingo walk into College Park Center...to join Jungle Jack Hanna at the Maverick Speakers Series event at 7:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, Feb. 5. The animal expert plans to bring these, a sloth, porcupines, an African penguin, and many other animals from the Dallas Zoo to his lecture. Student tickets are free; limit two.

Student Success

Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) offers help in dealing with the stress of college and life in general. One-time workshops include MAVS Talk Stress, Wednesday, Feb. 20, and QPR For Suicide Prevention, Wednesdays, Feb. 13 and 27. Ongoing group programs are Befriending 101, Mondays, starting Feb. 11; Overcoming Childhood Adversity, Thursdays, starting Feb. 14; and Renew, Relax, Revive, Mondays and Thursdays, in progress.

Romancing the Stars

Enjoy a romantic evening under the dark night sky at 6 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 14-16, at the UTA Planetarium. Our astronomers will take you on an adventure of love through space. Tickets are $10 each.
