2019 Toyota USA Men's Wheelchair Basketball Showdown at UTA includes Paralympic teams from Japan, Spain and the USA.

USA vs. Japan, Spain

Paralympic wheelchair basketball teams compete today at the Maverick Activities Center. Team USA plays Spain at 4 p.m. and Japan at 6 p.m. Admission is free.

UTA Day at the Rangers

See the Texas Rangers take on the Tampa Bay Rays at the annual UTA Day at the Rangers on Thursday, Sept. 12. The first 1,000 fans receive a limited edition UTA-themed Rangers cap. Read more.

Championship boxing

Watch lightweight boxing champions Maurice Hooker and Jose Ramirez compete for the world super lightweight title at the Matchroom Championships on Saturday, July 27, at College Park Center.

Other fights are Murat Gassiev vs. Joey Gawejko for the world heavyweight title. Austin Williams will compete in the middleweight contest with a yet unnamed opponent.

Tickets range from $25 to $200.

Comedy show

Get ready for a night of laughs with Michael Winslow and Jimmie Walker on Saturday, Aug. 10, at Texas Hall.

A master of vocal gymnastics, Winslow can imitate more 10,000 sound effects using his voice alone, whether it is Jimi Hendrix's guitar or a Star Wars battle. In the 1970s, Walker became a superstar with his catch phrase "Dyn-o-mite!", and Time magazine named him the Comedian of the Decade.

Tickets are $39.50-$49.50 each.
