Prepare for the Fair

Job Fair preparation

Get ready for the Virtual All Majors Job and Internship Fair by attending the virtual Prepare for the Fair and Navigating the Virtual Job and Internship Fair, both on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

The fair is 1-5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, Sept. 15-17.

Virtual Activity Fair Day

Activity Fair Day lets you learn about registered student organizations that range from academic to cultural to philanthropic. The event is 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, on mavorgs.uta.edu.

Super Service Saturday

Join your fellow Mavericks for a morning of community service 9:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, Sept. 12. Volunteers will be assigned a location. Register online.

Guest access to MyMav

Students will soon be able to share their student information in MyMav with parents or guests. Guests can view admissions status, grades, records, courses, financial information, and more.

Home games on ESPN+

UTA's volleyball team will play 16 league matches in two- and three-match series with no fans in attendance. All home games will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

Don't take the bait; beware of phishing

There is a new phishing scam targeting the UTA community trying to collect financial information from victims. The fake links look like UTA websites, but aren't legitimate. Learn more about phishing.

Complete training by Sept. 11

All students registered for classes should complete the Fall 2020 COVID-19 Student Training in Canvas by Friday, Sept. 11.

UTA Mobile app

UT Arlington’s official app, UTA Mobile, now features a daily reminder for self-assessment of COVID-19 symptoms before coming to campus each day.

Hazing notice for UTA students

University students are encouraged to learn more about hazing, Texas laws concerning hazing, and UTA's hazing policy.

Under the law, individuals or organizations engaging in hazing could be subject to fines and charged with criminal offenses.

Educational institutions are required publish a report regarding any registered student organizations that have been found responsible for, cited for, or convicted of hazing over the past three years. See the UTA hazing report.

  • Sept. 2—Census date for first eight-week term
  • Sept. 7—Labor Day Holiday: No classes, UTA closed
  • Sept. 11—Census date for fall semester
  • Sept. 17—Last day to drop classes for first five-week term; submit request to advisor by 4 p.m.
