All Majors Job Fair is online Sept. 15-17.

Virtual job fair one week away

Get ready for the Virtual All Majors Job & Internship Fair 1-5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, Sept. 15-17, online at utajobfair.vfairs.com.

The fair is open to all students and alumni seeking full-time positions, part-time jobs, internships, and field placements. More than 100 employers are expected to participate.

Dress in professional attire and have an updated electronic copy of your resume to share.

Take advantage of programs before the fair, including Virtual Student Intern Panel, Resume and Cover Letter Workshop, Mavs EDGE Virtual Employer Internship Panel, and Navigating the Virtual Job and Internship Fair.

Complete training by Sept. 11

All students registered for classes should complete the Fall 2020 COVID-19 Student Training in Canvas by Friday, Sept. 11.

Guest access to MyMav

Students can now share their student information in MyMav with parents or guests. Guests can view admissions status, grades, records, courses, financial information, and more.

Reconnect to campus network after Sunday

After maintenance on Sunday, Sept. 13, students may be required to “forget” the previous network settings, reconnect to the wireless network, and click the “trust” button to accept the new certificate.

Suicide prevention course

The QPR training for suicide prevention covers the warning signs and teaches how to intervene with at-risk individuals. Upcoming sessions are Thursday, Sept. 10, and Wednesday, Sept. 16.

MAVS Talk workshops

Learn about common concerns such as anxiety, loneliness, and stress and discover helpful ways to respond in MAVS Talk workshops. No registration is required.

Register to vote

Fill out a voter registration application online, print it, sign it, and mail it to the voter registrar in your county of residence. Your registration becomes effective 30 days after it is submitted and accepted.

Important dates

  • Sept. 11—Census date for fall semester
  • Sept. 17—Last day to drop classes for first five-week term; submit request to advisor by 4 p.m.
  • Sept. 29—Last day of classes for first five-week term
  • Sept. 30—Final exams for first five-week term

Choose one or all 13 designs of Mavericks face masks offered by the Athletics Department. Three layers of 100% cotton are comfortable and functional. Prices are $8.98 and $13.98.
