Looking ahead to spring

UTA's Spring Academic and Course Planning Taskforce is developing a plan that will guide a safe and healthy spring 2021 semester.

New philanthrophy degree

Starting this semester, UT Arlington offers a bachelor of arts in philanthropy, the first such degree in the state of Texas and the second in the nation.

Complete training today

All students registered for classes should complete the Fall 2020 COVID-19 Student Training in Canvas by today, Friday, Sept. 11.

Free research event

Register by today, Friday, Sept. 11, for the free Texas Advanced Computing Center's Symposium for Texas Researchers Thursday-Friday, Sept. 17-18, via Zoom and Slack.

All Majors Job Fair is online Sept. 15-17.

Virtual job fair is almost here

Get ready for the Virtual All Majors Job & Internship Fair 1-5 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, Sept. 15-17, online at utajobfair.vfairs.com.

The fair is open to all students and alumni seeking full-time positions, part-time jobs, internships, and field placements. More than 100 employers are expected to participate.

Dress in professional attire and have an updated electronic copy of your resume to share.

Reconnect to campus network after Sunday

After maintenance on Sunday, Sept. 13, students may be required to “forget” the previous network settings, reconnect to the wireless network, and click the “trust” button to accept the new certificate.

  • Sept. 17—Last day to drop classes for first five-week term; submit request to advisor by 4 p.m.
  • Sept. 29—Last day of classes for first five-week term
  • Sept. 30—Final exams for first five-week term
