The COVID-19 pandemic is not stopping the Theatre Arts program from carrying on, staging plays as well as dance and vocal performances that people can watch remotely.

Maverick Theatre Company and Maverick Dance Company performances will be available on demand for reasonable prices. Once tickets are purchased, a viewer will have 48 hours to watch the performance within the dates listed for each production.

Heal the Divide On and Off Campus: Original Student Plays is today, Friday, Oct. 9-Sunday, Oct. 11. Tickets at $5 plus fees via the Box Office.

The Department of Music offers live streaming for upcoming concerts and recitals.

Study Abroad Success Series

The Study Abroad Success Series prepares students for meaningful interaction with the world around them. Sessions are at 3 p.m. Mondays via Teams. The next is “Smart Budgeting: Dollars and Euros and Yen, Oh My!” Monday, Oct. 12.

Early voting at MAC

The Maverick Activities Center will serve as an early voting polling place for the Nov. 3 elections. The poll will be open Tuesday, Oct. 13-Friday, Oct. 30. See the schedule.

  • Oct. 21—Final exams for first eight-week term; registration ends for second eight-week term
  • Oct. 22—First day of classes for second eight-week term
  • Oct. 22-23—Late registration
  • Oct. 26—Last day to drop classes for second five-week term; submit requests to advisor prior to 4 p.m.
  • Oct. 29—Census date for second eight-week term
  • Nov. 6—Last day to drop classes for fall semester; submit requests to advisor prior to 4 p.m.
