Campus elections online

Vote online in the campus elections through Thursday, Oct. 29. Cast your ballot for Homecoming king and queen, Student Service Allocation Committee members, Student Government senators, and UTA Ambassadors.

Student Accounts info

The Office of Student Accounts will talk online about the importance of understanding payments, payment plans, direct deposit, and more. Sessions are 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Disability Studies info session

Attend a meet-and-greet to learn about the Disability Studies minor, spring courses, and internship opportunities at noon Wednesday, Oct. 28, on Teams.

Family Appreciation Day

Invite your family to attend the virtual Maverick Family Appreciation Day activities 4:30-6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30. Participate via Teams or through a call-in, audio-only option.

Early voting at MAC

The Maverick Activities Center serves as an early voting polling place for the Nov. 3 elections. The poll is open through Friday, Oct. 30. See the schedule.

Healthy in-person voting

Erin Carlson, director of graduate public health programs, offers precautions to keep safe while voting in person. In-person early voting ends on Friday, Oct. 30, and Election Day is set for Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Emotional health awareness

Fresh Check Day is part of Emotional Health Awareness Week, which aims to create an approachable and hopeful atmosphere where students are encouraged to engage in dialogue about mental health.

Look at telescopes

Learn the history of telescopes and make your own using simple lenses! Pick up a kit at Central Library on Wednesday, Nov. 4, while supplies last. The event starts at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5.

  • Nov. 11-12—Late registration for third five-week session.

  • Nov. 24—Last day for all in-person classes; instruction moves to all online after Thanksgiving.
