Free flu shots at MAC

It takes up to two weeks for your body to build immunity after getting a flu shot. Students eligible for UTA Health Services can get their free flu shots at the Maverick Activities Center Friday, Nov. 6, just in time for the upcoming holiday season.

Electrical outage planned for Woolf Hall

The Office of Facilities Management has scheduled an electrical outage for Woolf Hall from 10:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, to no later than 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. Available emergency back-up generators in these buildings will be maintained throughout this outage to power crucial services.

Save any work or data in progress before 10:30 p.m. Friday to prevent possible data loss.

First-Generation Celebration

Students can learn the personal stories and experiences of first-generation faculty and staff at UTA and how they navigated through college and into their career. The panel discussion is at noon Friday, Nov. 6.

  • Nov. 6—Last day to drop classes for fall semester; submit requests to advisor prior to 4 p.m. Last day of classes for second five-week term.
  • Nov. 9—Final exams for second five-week term.
  • Nov. 10—Registration ends for third five-week session.
  • Nov. 11—First day of classes for third five-week session.
  • Nov. 11-12—Late registration for third five-week session.
  • Nov. 12—Registration begins for spring semester.
  • Nov. 16—Census date for third five-week session.
  • Nov. 24—Last day for all in-person classes; instruction moves to all online after Thanksgiving.
  • Nov. 25—No classes scheduled.
  • Nov. 26-27—Thanksgiving holidays.
