Find support for final stretch of spring

While it has been a difficult year, you have done an amazing job of staying engaged with your coursework, professors, and fellow students. As the semester wraps up, you may have new questions or need additional support. UTA provides various academic and personal support resources to assist you.

UTA PD survey

Take a moment to provide your input in the UTA Police Department Community Satisfaction Survey by Friday, May 14. Your input is valuable in allowing the department to better serve our campus.

Esports invitational champs

The UTA esports team recently won the Collegiate Esports Invitational, with the winning Mavericks earning $6,000 in scholarships.

Cheer, dance honors

The UTA cheerleaders took fourth place at the National Cheerleaders Association College National Championship in the Advanced Small Coed Division I. The dance team placed fourth in Divison I overall and third in hip-hop in the National Dance Association championships.

Lend your voice to Homerathon, a full-day reading of the Greek epic The Odyssey by Homer 7 a.m.-10:30 p.m. Thursday, April 15, via Teams. Offer to read or simply listen to the tale.

During Student Employee Appreciation Week, through Friday, April 16, UTA says "Thanks" to all the student workers whose hard work and dedication make UTA the wonderful University it is today.

Spirit horse design

Submit designs for the next spirit horse we put on campus. Winners receive a stipend and the chance to paint the Spirit Horse. Submissions are due Thursday, April 15.

Diversity story contest

Write a fiction story on how the shifting of perspectives has allowed for a more inclusive and equitable viewpoint for the Shifting Perspectives: A Short Story Diversity Contest. Submit your entry by Sunday, April 18.

Black Excellence Awards

Nominate faculty and staff for the Reby Cary Faculty Excellence Award and the Staff Excellence Award. Suggest a student for the Maxwell Scarlett Outstanding Student Award. Nominations are due Saturday, May 1.

  • April 15—Census Date for third five-week term.
  • April 27—Last day to drop classes for second eight-week term; submit requests to advisor prior to 4 p.m.

Community Vaccine Center

Arlington’s Community Vaccination Center is inside AT&T Stadium 9 a.m.-5 p.m. seven days a week. To receive the COVID-19 vaccine, an appointment is required.

Join 3 Steps to Health to learn about fitness and good health in three sessions. Each session is made up of three meetings, each with a different focus. Choose the session that fits your schedule.
